Terms and Conditions of Colouring in Competition as run by

Toowoomba & Region Environment Council

1. This colouring in competition is being held in conjunction with the Toowoomba & Region Environment Council (TREC) with Media 360 Earth Hour Concert, held March 28^th 2009.

2. This competition is open for children between the ages of 5-10 years of age.  All entries must have a parents or guardian's signature. Competition opens Friday March 20 ^th 2009.

3. Entries can be handed in at Laurel Bank Park Hall, 50 Hill Street Toowoomba, Monday March 23rd through to Thursday March 26th from 10am to 2pm or posted to TREC, PO Box 1306 Toowoomba Qld 4350. Entries will not be accepted at The Chronicle office.

4. Competition will close on Thursday 26^th at 2pm. Judging will take place on Thursday March 26^th at the above stated location at 6.30pm.

5. Finalists will be contacted via phone and confirmed in writing. The winning entries will be announced at East Creek Park, March 28^th from 1pm. While winning entrants are invited to be there to collect their prize, it is not a condition of entry.

1st Prize - A girls or boys bike to the value of $200 only (IRide Bikes)

Runner up 1 - Gift Certificate - $50.00 (Australian Geographic)

Runner up 2 - Disgusting Science Kit - approx value $29.95 (Australian Geographic)

6. Winner's details will be published in the Chronicle Wednesday April 1^st 2009. 

7. This design has been created by Lorraine White of Toowoomba, and is therefore subject to copyright.  For the express purpose of entering the competition, photocopies will be allowed.

8. The competition judging will be conducted by Representatives of TREC, Media 360, & Lorraine White. Their decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered in to.

9. Entries will be kept as record for a period of 5 years by TREC and then destroyed there after.
